FEMALE PROS RACE IN CRAFT

Category: Global News

CRAFT is happy to announce the signing of one of the world’s best women’s cycling teams: for the next two years, team Hitec Products UCK will train and race in the Swedish label’s high tech clothing. The international squad is based in Norway and includes top cyclists like German Lisa Brennauer, Luxembourgian Nathalie Lamborelle, as well as Swedish and Norwegian road race champions Emma Johansson and Lise Nøstvold. The women’s team will race in the same gear than the recently signed Team Luxembourg with riders Frank and Andy Schleck, Fabian Cancellara, Stuart O’Grady and Linus Gerdemann.

CRAFT will provide the team with all their clothing requirements including baselayers, while the company will rely on the riders’ constant feedback to assist in the development process of future high-end lines especially for women.  Craft CEO Magnus Mansson is excited about the partnership.  “Our product development is fundamentally rooted in the cooperation with the best athletes in the world. By working with a professional female cycling team, we will gain fantastic input. This is a very promising collaboration for us!”

After meeting the CRAFT product team, cyclist Emma Johansson stated: “I was impressed with the professional approach of the entire CRAFT crew and the quality of the clothing. We are very excited to have such a skilled sponsor at our side towards the Olympic games in 2012.”
