From 3rd till 7 th of September in Ostrov (Psovskaja region) took place Russian summer ski championship. All members of the national team except 2005-world Champion Vasiliy Rochev took part in them. There were three races in the program: Gundersen's race, sprint and trail running in a hard terrain.
Olympic Champion Evgeny Dementyev won Gundersen's race (15 km skate in the morning and 15 km classic in the evening) in men's class. World Cup Stage winner Natalia Korosteleva did the same in the women's category. Fastest sprinters in classic race became quite expectedly Nikita Kryukov and Natalia Matveeva. National Team members Alexander Legkov and Diana Sapronova were the best in running.
