In Krasnogorsk (Moscow region), which is famous for XC masters World championship, took place traditional competitions of the strongest skiers Krasnogorskaja lyzhnja. After these competitions was formed National team, which would take part in Tour de Ski.
Race program included two individuals in classic and free styles up to 15 km (mens) and up to 10 km (womens) and two sprints both classic and free style.
Classic individuals winners were Alexander Legkov and Olga Rotcheva from National Ski Team. But freestyle individuals won Elena Burukhina and Dmitry Tishkin from Istina ski club. Womens sprints were won by first World Cup stage winner Natalia Matveeva. In mens classical sprint won World champion in this discipline Vasily Rotchev, in freestyle one won junior sprint World champion Ivan Ivanov.
Despite winning in freestyle individuals Elena Burukhina and Dmitry Tishkin miss Tour de Ski as well as National Team captain Vasily Rotchev, who is going to prepare himself to aftertour World Cup stages.
Men Tour de Ski Team: Alexander Legkov, Evgeny Dementiev, Maxim Vylegzhanin, Stanislav Volzhentsev, Nikolay Pankratov, Dmitry Ljashenko, Iliya Tchernousov, Nikolay Morilov and Andrey Parfenov.
Women Tour de Ski Team: Olga Rotcheva, Larisa Kurkina, Natalia Korosteleva, Julia Ivanova, Evgenia Medvedeva, Diana Sapronova, Julia Tchekaleva, Natalia Iljina, Svetlana Ovchinnikova.
