17-18th of January in Moscow was held speed skating World championship in sprint all-round. European champion-2009 Eugeni Lalenkov made its summary for us:
It wasnt very good performance for our team, but me and Dmitry Lobkov finished in the first 20. It gives our team possibility for three competitors next year. It is very important for youngsters, who dont have a lot of experience.
I wanted to fight for victory at 1000 m distance by my form wasnt so good, cause it was to little time to recover from European Championship, where distances were completely different (5000 and 10 000 m). I won bronze at 1000 m and showed my season best at 500, but it was enough only for 16th place.
