From 30th of January to 1st of February in Demino Ski Centre (nearby Rybinsk) took place cross-country World Cup stage. In program were 10/15 free technique mass-starts and free technique sprints. Pursuit races, which was planned to the last racing day was cancelled due to the cold weather.
Winners of mass-starts were German Tobias Angerer and Italian Marianna Longa, Italian Renato Pasini and Finn Pirjo Muranen won sprint races. Russians Alexey Petukhov and Anthon Gafarov became sprint silver and bronze medalists.
In the racing Center were a lot of CRAFT Sportswear the sponsor of the Ski Centre banners, which were often showed on the TV-screens all over the world by the broadcasting. The level of the organization was highly evaluated by the sportsmen, coaching stuff and even Russian Sport minister Vitaly Mootko, who had also visited Demino.
