Stage two of the Tour of Poland took the riders over a basically meandering parcours from Serock to Bialystok. Though a four man break did try its luck with a long escape, the course, conditions and mindset of the peloton dictated that the day would end in a mass sprint. Saxo Bank's J.J. Haedo grabbed third place for the stage behind Lampre's Angelo Furlan and Silence Lotto's Jurgen Roelandts.
With another long flat stage ahead for Tuesday, Saxo Bank feels confident in their chances to snag another victory in this ProTour race.
