Gustav Larsson Fifth in Luxembourg

This Wednesday an eight-man delegation of Team Saxo Bank-riders did the prologue of the UCI-race, the SKODA - Tour de Luxembourg, attended by among others the former winner of the race in 2002, Marcus Ljungqvist. The Saxo Bank team was also represented by Kurt-Asle Arvesen, Matti Breschel, Andy Schleck, Gustav Larsson, Chris Anker Sørensen, Stuart O'Grady and Frank Schleck, who finished third last year.

The course consists of Wednesday’s prologue and four stages, where the last is due on Sunday June 7th. The starting time trial, which more precise could be described as a long sprint of 2.7 kilometers, between Rue de Notre-Dame to Place de Guallaume in the city of Luxembourg was won by Gregory Rast (Astana).

Best Team Saxo Bank rider was Gustav Larsson who finished fifth.
