Craft enters collaboration with Challenge Copenhagen

Craft has entered a sponsorship deal with Challenge Copenhagen, the largest triathlon event in the northern part of Europe. Next august the event will attract more than 1500 athletes to Copenhagen in the quest to challenge them selves at the legendary iron-distance: 3,8 km svim, 180 km bike and 42,2 km run.

As Scandinavians leading manufacture of quality sports clothing Craft and Challenge Copenhagen forms a solid partnership on the path of creating one of Europe’s prime iron-distance triathlon races.

“The collaboration with Craft helps underline Challenge Copenhagens position as a international triathlon event at the highest level. For many years Craft has been developing top quality clothing for both professionals and amateurs. The knowhow gained trough the years, now gives the contestants in Challenge Copenhagen a gain” Says Kim Mejner Henriksen, Race Director, Challenge Copenhagen.

Craft will supply all of the clothing for Challenge Copenhagen. Therefore both athletes and volunteers can enjoy the high quality of Crafts products. Particularly the athletes can look forward to receive the specially designed finisher shirt when crossing the finish line at Challenge Copenhagen.

Craft T2

On race day Craft will, among other things, be visible in Craft T2 – the transition from bike to run, located in front of the National Bank of Denmark. Flags, streamers and blow up portals surround the area to generate atmosphere and life for both contestants and spectators. And as a special race day activity Craft awards the fastest age-group man and woman trough T2.

“It is very meaningful for us to be engaged in a triathlon event at this level, and thereby putting our imprint on one of the largest returning sport-events in Denmark. Challenge Copenhagen will be a fantastic experience for both the athletes and spectators, and we are very proud to be a part of this experience” says Peter Nørby, Sales Manager, Craft Denmark.

Besides providing the finisher shirts as a symbol to the athletes for the agony and pain they suffered going trough Challenge Copenhagen, Craft will also develop a unique series of Challenge Copenhagen merchandise and training cloth, which will be available in selected stores soon.
