Emily Benham wins in Swinley Forest MTBO

Emily had a fantastic race and won by 10 minutes!
- The 11.5km womans race was won in 58 minutes, a whole 10 minutes ahead of the 2nd place rider.
Her winter training is paying off and she can't wait to get out to Hungary for the World Cup. She was very happy with this result as the forest is very technical for MTBO. The event formed the second round of the Southern MTBO Series, for which she is co-ordinating, and was the largest event to ever happen in the UK. There was a turnout of 91 competitors which beat the previous record from 2008 by 10 people. It's great to see all the effort of MTBO Southern Series promotion paying off :-)
