CRAFT appoints new Managing Director

Swedish sportswear pioneer CRAFT is happy to announce the recruitment of Magnus Mansson as new Managing Director. Starting on June 1st, Mansson (42) will replace Hans Larsson, who has held the CEO position since 2007 and has been promoted within the parent company, New Wave Group. Larsson is now CEO of the New Wave Sports section managing seven brands including Craft, Cutter & Buck and Seger.

CRAFT announces the appointment of Magnus Mansson as new Managing Director starting June 1st. Based at the CRAFT headquarter offices in Boras, Sweden, Mansson takes over the position from Hans Larsson. 42-year old Mansson has previously served as Managing Director at Swedish Outdoor brand Tretorn, which is owned by Puma. Before that he was Sales and Marketing manager globally at Tretorn. In the past he has also worked at Nike for seven years.

“I’m extremely excited about my new task,” states Mansson. “CRAFT is an internationally successful, rapidly growing brand with a great team, fantastic products and a clear vision. I’m very much looking forward to joining the team and develop the brand further.”
