Cross-country skiing is to a large degree about synchronizing body parts. Torso, limbs and extremities must work together seamlessly to propel the skier as fast as possible in a forward direction.
In-depth studies of how the fabric of ski garments moves across the back, shoulders and arms as well as across the hips and legs during the diagonal stride, for example, are crucial for the development of optimal ski wear. Focusing on these areas of the body, we are able to design performance clothing that provides effective ventilation and compression without restricting the athlete’s freedom of movement.
