Tour of Flanders
Kategorie: Global NewsThe Tour of Flanders or, “Ronde van Vlaanderen” as it is more known, is not only one of the most prestigious race to win of the whole season, it’s also one of the toughest and biggest on-day race there is.
This year’s race takes part on Sunday the 5th of April and the riders are going from Brugge in west Flanders to Meerbeke in the eastern part of Flanders. On there way to the finish the riders will climb over 16 steep hills and the majority of these are paved.
The cycling sport and the Tour of Flanders are extremely popular and the Belgian fans are some of the most devoted in the world. Therefore the winner of Tour of Flanders always will be remembered.
