“no sleep till Riva” was more or less the motto for “CRAFT and Friends” team member and Guinness Book of Records entry Guido Kunze’s project: the 44-year old German rode the original route of the legendary 8 stage race BIKE Transalp from Füssen (Germany) to Riva del Garda (Italy) day and night in just 66 hours.
20.000 altitude meters, and 600 km without hardly any sleep, accompanied by heavy rain, flooded trails, deep snow on the peaks at night and thunderstorms. Yet, he arrived in Riva safely – although a bit tired...
