Irene Wust from the Netherlands is the new World Champion in Allround Speedskating. In Calgary, Canada the Craft sponsored Irene Wust could celebrate her second World Allround title. During the championship Wust also managed to beat two of her personal records, 3:58.01 at 3000 m and 6:55.58 at 5000 m. The fast ice of Calgary Olympic Oval suited Wust perfect and she could bring the gold medal home.
