    Hi,
Are the Swix CH series good to use as stand-alone glider, or do you recommend to cover it with another wax, ex Swix LF/HF?

  2. vallarna says:

Hello Martin> I think the Swix CH works OK when its colder weather! When its gettting warmer i shoud use the HF serie! /Anders Niemi

  3. Martin says:

Hej, förstod inte att jag kunde skriva på svenska först.
    Ok, tack för svar!
Kommer ni ha några fler jippon där man får titta i er vallalastbil och se när ni vallar, likt det ni hade i Sundsvall, under vintern?

Martin> Hej! Vallalastbilen är faktiskt just nu ute på en lite mini tour hos olika volkswagen återförsäljare. Har dock ingen koll på vilka orter den blir uppställd i. /Anders Niemi

    hi!

I’m a complete novice at waxing classic skis. I’ve been using start tape so far, but it went off everytime after 2 skiing sessions. what is your opinion about the tape in comparison to the normal wax?

when you wax a classical ski, do you put on a new ground layer (like swix VG30) for each session or just the upper layers with the waxes for the daily condition?

    many thanks in advance! tom

    Hej!

It would be interesting to hear what wax the winners have under their skis, and also what skis they have at the day of the wictory…:)

  7. vallarna says:

WAX ON!

These are busy days for the waxing staff of the Swedish national XC team. The start of the cross-country ski season is just weeks away and the staff is currently performing a great number of equipment tests. Among many other things, the seven staff members try out loads of new skis and ski structures as well as new waxes and wax compositions.

During October you will be able to follow the daily life and busy work of the Swedish XC waxing staff here at our website. The staff members will provide you with a behind-the-scene look of their work and most surely give you some waxing advice as well.
